Best on a laptop or desktop. The terminals, code editors and papers need a keyboard. On a phone you can look around and practise.
Terms of use
Version 1.1-draft · in effect from 2026-10-27. Palm Forge, operated by Let Us Support Private Limited (PalmDigitalz).
Who we are
Palm Forge is operated by Let Us Support Private Limited (CIN
U74999TN2020PTC136234), which trades as PalmDigitalz. You can reach us at
jacinth@letussupport.in. Our registered
address and company details are on the [contact page](/legal/contact).
These terms govern your use of forge.palmdigitalz.online. By using the
service you agree to them. If you are using Palm Forge through an employer
that holds a licence, your employer's agreement with us also applies, and
where the two differ, theirs governs the things it covers.
What the service is
Palm Forge is a practice and assessment platform for mainframe work. It
provides written scenarios you work through, measures what you did, and in
some cases issues a credential describing it.
Two kinds of credential exist and they claim different things.
- A passport reports what you did. It says a named person completed
named work on a given date. It is a record, not a prediction.
- A certification asserts that somebody can be trusted with a kind of
work. It is issued only when the question bank behind it meets a stated
reliability standard, and every certificate states the standard in force
when it was issued.
We do not claim that a Palm Forge credential is equivalent to, endorsed by,
or recognised by IBM or any other vendor. Where we name a vendor's product
we do so to refer to the technology, under that vendor's trademarks.
Your account
You sign in with Google or, where an
administrator has arranged it, with an address we hold. You are responsible
for what happens under your account.
One account is one person. Sharing an account is a breach of these terms,
and it is also self-defeating: the measurements become meaningless and any
credential issued from them is worthless.
If your employer gave you access through a seat they hold, your account
belongs to you and the seat belongs to them. They can withdraw the seat.
What you have already earned stays yours.
What you may not do
- Share, publish, sell or otherwise distribute the scenario content,
questions or answers. The question bank is the product and its value
depends on candidates not having seen it.
- Use automated means to collect content in bulk. We measure reading volume
and we act on it.
- Attempt to obtain a credential by any means other than doing the work.
- Interfere with the service, other users' accounts, or the integrity of
any assessment.
Scenario pages carry a visible watermark showing the name and address of the
person reading them. This is deliberate, and it means an image or printout
that leaves the platform identifies who it came from.
Paid plans and access
Some content and the right to sit a certification require a paid plan, a
seat provided by an employer, or a voucher. What each tier reaches is shown
on the plan page before you buy.
A plan that lapses returns you to the free tier. It does not take away
anything you have already earned: your attempts, your scores and any
credential you hold are unaffected.
Prices shown include GST. The amount on the plan page is the amount
you pay; the tax is part of it rather than added at checkout. A tax invoice
is raised for every payment and appears under your invoices, where you can
print it or save it as a PDF. If you are buying for a registered business
and need your GSTIN on the invoice, write to us before you pay.
Payment terms, refunds and cancellation are covered in the
[refunds and cancellation policy](/legal/refunds).
Credentials, and when we withdraw one
A credential we issue remains valid unless we withdraw it. We withdraw a
credential only where there is evidence that it was not earned — an account
shared during the assessment, content obtained in advance, or a defect in
the instrument that materially affected the result.
If we withdraw a credential we will tell you why. A credential withdrawn
because of our own error, rather than yours, is a case where we will also
discuss what we owe you.
What we promise, and what we do not
We aim to keep the service available and correct, and we take backups before
every deployment. We do not promise uninterrupted availability.
Palm Forge is a training and assessment tool. It is not a substitute for
your own judgement in a production environment. Nothing here is a warranty
that any particular outcome, employment or certification will follow from
using it.
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim
arising out of your use of the service is limited to the amount you paid us
in the twelve months before the claim.
Changes
We may change these terms. When we do, the version number above changes and
the new version takes effect from its stated date. We keep a record of which
version you agreed to and when.
If a change materially affects what you have paid for, we will tell you
before it takes effect.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have
exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
